Introducing PARACORD SUMMER
Collected & Curated Outdoor Jewelry
Paracord summer is a state of mind. It’s a reminder to get outdoors, get active, and play. It calls for jewelry that can handle sunscreen and salt water and long days outside. Pieces that look better after a little wear. Pieces that do not mind being dunked, dipped, stacked. and splashed.
Summer is a time when my wrist stack gets extra fun and funky, and I’m sharing it with all of you.
HOW IT WORKS
Throughout the season, I will be releasing sporadic drops of paracord pieces in different color and material combinations. Some lean more polished, some more playful, but all of them are meant to be worn the way summer is actually (hopefully) lived: outside, often, and without too much preciousness.
THE MATERIALS
Paracord
Short for parachute cord, paracord was originally designed as a lightweight braided utility cord known for being strong, flexible, and dependable. That is exactly why I love it for summer jewelry. It's practical in the best way: fun, unfussy, capable, and made for real life. It can handle the beach, the lake, the trail, the dock, and whatever else you’re up to.
Stone Mariner Links
Mariner links take their shape from anchor chains, with oval links often defined by a bar through the center. Over time, that nautical form made its way into jewelry, where it has remained a classic for generations.
Hand-Blown, Vintage Glass Beads from Fineline Studios
These vintage glass beads mean a lot to me. They are hand-blown little works of art, passed down from the artist, and each one carries its own sense of history. To me, they speak to the value of preservation. Keeping beautiful things in circulation. Caring for what came before us. Letting the past remain part of the future.
